CEON has facilitated the development of several other web-based
mapping applications for network partners and other entities who align
with CEON's mission. These are
listed below in alphabetical order.
ARMAP ~ The Arctic Research Mapping Application.
- This application highlights site locations for US federally funded arctic research activities over the past decade. ARMAP includes a suite of interactive 2D and 3D mapping applications.
BAID-IMS ~ The Barrow Area
Information Database and Internet Map Server.
- BAID-IMS is an Internet Map Server designed to support Arctic science near Barrow, Atqasuk and Ivotuk on the North Slope of Alaska. BAID-IMS includes satellite imagery and other remote sensing products, topographic maps, land ownership information and local infrastructure that facilitates research and science communication. Users can print or export maps for presentations and export tabular information. BAID-IMS currently includes the locations of over 6000 research plots and instrument locations. This ongoing effort incorporates both new research locations and sampling sites dating back to the 1940s.

CANIPY-IMS ~ The Canadian International Polar Year Internet Map Server.
- This site is a mapping portal to the wide array of projects and study sites that are celebrating the International Polar Year (IPY) in Canada. This portal also includes an Antarctic IMS.
